Apartments on the sea

It is a housing scheme located in South-Italy, a few kilometers far from the sea. The dry weather and the saline winds imposed a series of plant choices to give a right result to the garden without  adopting expensive solutions from a water and an energy point of view.

We have bet mainly on Mediterranean essences and on a meadow made by macro-thermal baths and on avoiding exotic plants that require a large quantity of water and fertilizers. We have chosen a garden with a minimal environmental impact that would be resistant and coherent with the landscape.

Olive and palm trees, rosemary and cysts lead to borders of landscape roses and exalt the snow-white stones with which walls were built. The final landscape, beside showing a Mediterranean brightness of greenery, offers a domestic atmosphere that characterizes the entire compound.
