Exibition garden “Orden”, Fornacette (Pi) |
The effort to recreate a green landscape in a small exhibition area was born of foreseeing spectator’s emotions and feelings that he/she could feel by observing it. Going with the creative crowd of the marvellous formal gardens of XVth century, nature was “subdued” in precise and in decisive lines of box hedge. Besides describing the design and the geometry of the garden, it creates a pleasant contrast with the lightness and the flexibility of oat grass planted just behind the flowering verbena. But the circular corner area dominates thanks to its hedge. In its inner space there is an original creation that creates a fascinating point of interest with its special association between wood and pruned box-wood until to form a circular short table. |
