Italian-style garden, Cascina (Pi) |
It is a formal, respectful, decorative, Italian-style garden. Vegetal essences, forms and colours were thought in the wake of noble, eighteenth-century Italian tradition about villas. It results a classic design with elegant and delicate colours. At the entrance it was thought a circular parterre bounded by box-trees and crossed by gravel. The four symmetrical developing flower-beds host not only iris, roses and bitter orange trees, but also four box-trees pruned in a ball form that trace the axis and the symmetry of the garden. In the rearward there is a flooring put in the shade by some long-stemmed plants. It offers a multi-functional area that completes the space in an ideal way. |
