Small urban garden, San Giuliano Terme (Pi) |
The high boundary walls, that divide this area from the rest of ancient country of San Giuliano Terme, were perceived as opportunities to rebuild a garden that corresponds to the modern style of the house without incurring the risk of appearing out of urban context. Even if we commanded an area that was appropriate in size, we decided to outline imaginary partitions through a miscellaneous plant covering. It is in this way that meadow, gravel and covering flower-beds, divided by long and straight slabs, form a lively and vivacious complex The deep green of bamboo covers lightly the boundary wall. Two potted agaphantus make seats more comfortable. |
